| Hey guys, I'm playing this highly praised game Super Mario Bros. and the combat is giving me gigantic anxiety attacks. I'm right at the start and I've been stuck here for two weeks now and I think I'm done. What happens is I start to walk forward towards what appears to be a floating row of bricks when this little mushroom like guy walks at me. AND. HE. DOESN'T. STOP. Then he one hits me instantly upon combat. I've tried literally everything to avoid combat with him but it seems like there's no way to not aggro him and the floating bricks seem to be funneling me into combat. This is just terrible design. I almost put my fist through the wall and my roommates are bothering me with "son is something wrong down there? Does dad need to reset your RAM again?" This is why I hate PC gaming and I'm so frustrated that I can barely even watch YouTube at work thinking about that mushroom guy and how everyone says this game is a classic. |
