Every single time I see Seinfeld's underage grooming shit mentioned in a thread, I respect that somebody kept the information fresh, and I keep reading what the thread is about. If people feel discomfort mentally reconciling the damning information with their idolization of the celebrity, then that's something they'll have to figure out on their own. Shaming the people who bring up problematic pasts is not how we should be operating. People can continue to engage with the thread without whining about other Era users keeping people aware of the wrongdoings of celebrities.
And quite frankly, there are many pockets of the Internet where this website lives rent-free in their heads, and some of the comments in the thread were 1-2 steps removed from how those places talk about the users of this place.
