what the fuck...I genuinely thought people were exaggerating or being silly with it...

I almost respect the audacity.

Don't...

If the second movie isn't a full on comedy, I'll be disgusted.

Lost Boys. I haven't watched it for ages but it still stands up. Seeing it again after all these years of Feldman being a madman it really hits home how badly drugs fucked his career.

The two things I’ve seen people saying about it are

there are Jimmy Saville power rangers using ninjutsu to fight infected?

there’s a 7ft tall infected guy throughout the movie, with his foot long hog flopping all over the place?

I did appreciate the “28 inches later“ joke I saw flopping around, to borrow your phrasing.

I went to see the F1 movie with Brad Pitt.

It's a well produced film but basically Top Gun with race cars. I loved it but if you're not much of a (casual) F1 fan there's probably a lot of references, cameos and jokes you won't get.

I thought they handled that pretty well.

He's basically

Loose cannon and support driver. He fucks up the grid and causes red flags and safety cars with agressive driving so the other guy can get ahead.

I need to make an effort to catch it while I can. I regret not watching Top Gun in imax. Being too busy I haven’t watched Mission Impossible yet.

I thought F1 was great.  Didn't break any new ground story-wise, but what it did do is told its story well, with solid characters played well by all the actors, and the audio/visual experience itself was excellent.  I hope it does very well.
