This is basically how every developer looks at me when they explain how they can do everything much easier with AI and I tell them that they've made all software open-source and reduced its value to 0 and no one will pay them to just write code behind their desks anymore.
![]() I still don't understand why the first thing developers did with AI was make themselves redundant. They're just that oblivious to the idea that a business has to make money. 1 user liked this post: who is ted danson?

Like, why wouldn't you enable this if it was technically possible? old insecure software that could buffer overflow and let the console get hacked this assumes they don't know how to virtualize it properly and not let the game escape its shell which is actually a real possibility; I mean it would still need access to save things to the drive for the memory card, and that could be a vector, burn a homebrew PS2 disk that writes special stuff to the drive

For the first time in my life I was actually wondering who maintains and owns PHP.
It's a foundation so at least there is an entity. Yesterday we were wating as some guy named ondrej had to update a package on his github. Usually he did so with 1 - 36 hours. When he released the update the server hosting it immediately went down. But you could change the update path with sudo -s -s etc. etc. Linux file commands to an alternative source. That and Donald Trump is what underpins western civilization. 1 user liked this post: who is ted danson?
