77 million people voted for Trump in 2024, and another 86 million didn't bother to vote which is just as bad. So when 67% of the eligible voting population allowed for Trump to happen, I think Canadians are well within their rights to want nothing to do with us at all.

I see these numbers quoted in these kinds of topics, and it strikes me as dubious.

First off I have no clue why you're being so aggressive.

And second off, I'll apologize for not being specific with my Yakuza complaints but I'll be specific in that it was referring to the new Kiwami 3 (alongside their Persona remakes)

Where specifically in P3R they introduced direct party control, baton passes, all these new fancy moves and the enemies barely adjusted in response to these new mechanics the OG p3 did NOT have thus making the game boring and easy, instead of actually fixing Tartarus's issues they just made it frictionless.

This then applies to Kiwami 3's combat where in the OG way it was flawed, it was called blockuza for a fair enough reason (just like in Persona 3 OG) but instead of fixing these issues, the block frequency is still absurdly high, they now added absurd suck to target magneticism simplifying the game which messes up with who you want to target for combos, they removed a shit ton of properties in the new version where you now struggle immensely to wallbounce and so on and so forth, making the game somehow an even bigger button masher.

And you just love to conveniently ignore all of Sega's other shady and ethically extremely questionable practices, alongside them just straight up delisting older games so that you have to buy the shiny new game.

If you'd like to continue this conversation could you not just be a jerk about it?

Edit: This can be continued on about the games they lend like the newest Shinobi completely removing enemy contact damage, just letting you run past enemy counters and barely even be forced to interact with the level design.

Once again my final point, is that I have extreme concern over how Sega is "reviving" and "remaking" their old IP where a lot of their newer entries have these shinier graphics and completely ignore the older series game design decisions, alongside with their decisions to embrace genAI and their extremely controversial casting decisions and constant taking down of older titles. I won't give Sega critical acclaim because they are releasing new titles in these beloved series, they have to pass a certain bar and they should be held to that bar.

Sarah: It looks to me like there’s a real mix of motivations and several distinct pathways for boys and men who get sucked into trans identification. A lot of boys in these online spaces seem to struggle with the idea that male sexuality is innately aggressive, deviant, problematic, or predatory (or all of the above). mandatory deanonymization for ALL users is a big deal in countries where people are punished by the government for speech the government does not like.

Especially the ones written such that deanonymization is de facto required and things like Apple's scheme to enable people to prove on a device level that they are adults without revealing their identity are inexplicably not sufficient.

This wasn't some item found on the street or acquired in an estate sale with a bunch of other things.

We know that the person it came from is from a marginalized group, often mocked and ridiculed for the simple 'crime' of being without shelter, and has mental health issues.

Just because you don't have to worry about the repercussions of the person seeing any of this, does it make it okay.

I told you that I myself highly struggle with mental health issues (I'm Agoraphobic(basically I can't Leave my house), SAD, GAD, Autistic/adhd) and that because of my own issues I decided to hide the actual book contents and just defaulted it to a scary notebook with positive sayings inside, therefore protecting the thoughts and ideas of the man who gave SOAP the book.
