I was on a run (with a weighted vest) in the park earlier when I saw a group of Gen Z guys at the park having a small bonfire.

I overheard them talking about Jelly Roll's despicable comments on Jimmy Kimmel.

"I was disgusted by Jelly's divisive comments about the President," one said. "Bruh, I love his music," one of the others replied, tossing what appeared to be a CD into a small fire pit, "but I will NEVER listen to any of it again."

Slowing down, I approached them. "Boys, what's the latest?" I interjected. "I couldn't help but hear you discussing Jelly Roll's performative leftist virtue signaling on Jimmy Kimmel."

"No cap, I never liked him. Beats are weak, and he's chopped af," one of the boys fired back. "We are burning our CDs to show solidarity with DJT."

I looked closer and saw a heap of Jelly Roll CDs, spanning his entire discography, melting together in a fury of patriotism-fueled flames.

"Carry on, boys," I said as a smile grew across my face. I threw another 20 lbs into my vest. "You should give Kid Rock a listen. He's infinitely more talented than Jelly Roll. Trust me."

I dapped them all up and broke into a dead sprint to finish out my run.

The kids are going to be alright.

Suddenly my social media feed is full of Disneyland posts. I’m learning that until three days ago, the north exit of DisneySea was reserved for guests of only three hotels. For context, DisneySea is a long straight line that’s 20 to 30 minutes to walk across. So before, you had to walk back 30 minutes to the entrance to leave, even if you were right next to the north exit. Basically, super autistic Japanese Disney fans have been sharing posts on how to optimize this new development by timing themselves to the second.

Context: we’re in a long holiday break called silver week. Weather has been shitty followed by tsunami yesterday. Today was all clear and I’ve been seeing posts about how unbelievably crowded DisneySea is. I’m learning there’s an inside joke about the Sinbad ride never having a line. It’s so crowded today, even it has a 40 minute wait.

I found it amusing because I went into the Sinbad ride precisely because there was no wait. And it was actually horrible. You’re trapped on a slow boat listening to puppets sing the same song for what feels like an hours.

For more context, the ride next to it showing 140 minutes is Raging Spirits. It was the only long line I stood in for about 25 minutes.
