I've seen similar discourse directed at fighting games and well many other games in general before like calling out how flat men's arses are flat (even characters like Zangief who is VERY popular in bear spaces) etc and it's honestly surprising how fighting game devs and artist don't seem to realize or care their games can and do tend to gay and mlm. Neatherrealm is a good example. I remember the MKX and 11 designs for Scorpion and Sub-Zero being MASSIVELY popular with MLM fans, my friends, fan art etc... Only for all that to nearly vanish with MKOne (honestly, outside of threads on ERA about it and this thread, I never see discourse related to MKOne).
Would be really interesting a nice what a MLM fighting game would be like, designwise, storywise etc. "a few times"
