Sorry, if your ethics are absolute perfection in every spot of the supply chain for every single product on Earth, then no, you cannot use anything. You can't even read this post because fossil fuels are the main source of electricity for the entire planet. Solar power? Only operates with fossil fuel backups to maintain a constant load in the system. Unless you're literally off the grid, you're complicit.

Which means, just like with all other instances where they chant that for no clear reason, you're absolved from guilt. You can't pick or choose because I can do this for literally any "ethical" company you bring me. Any business that relies on any form of manufacturing? Oops, sorry, not ethical. Relies on financing? Oops, global finance is definitely not ethical under your system. Owns property? Wow, really not ethical.

You're the one who has adopted an uncompromising rigid ethical nihilism, it's not on me to adhere to standards that are literally impossible to meet you fucking morons. Abandon the impossible ethics, not keep trying to make up excuses for why you're allowed to not follow them this time.

My parents were going to, but then they made a decision not to, to ensure I didn't have an unfair advantage over my sister (as they could only afford one of us to go).

Guess who is actually earning a higher salary and gets more holidays lol.

I prefer being a "normal" person as private school might have turned me into a dickhead potentially. But on the other hand I have always had some intellectual, academic inclinations, but I didn't do well through the state school system (I was good at GCSE, then average at 6th form) nor did I end up going to the best uni etc. (or even graduate at all).

I think if my parents had put me through private school, I would have reached my potential, gone to a top tier uni, got a prestige high salary paying job etc.

But I'm not bitter about it or anything, I'm apathetic, don't really care. But just knowing how geeky/nerdy I am, I think it would have helped nurture that side of me moreso than state school did.

Mr. Dickhead thinks he'd be a CEO by now if only he'd gone too private school. Luckily he's not bitter about it.
