There’s a conspiracy theory I’ve seen on some Reddit comments and another forum, about how the elite (musicians , actors, high society folk, company execs etc) are liquidating due to the end time approaching. I know a bunch of other musicians have sold their catalogues recently. I saw a tweet reply a while ago in response to Bob Dylan selling his entire catalogue, stating how the rich know that we’re gonna be in a post apocalypse scenario in the near future so they hunkering down now and using their wealth to build impenetrable bunkers and whatnot.

I’ve started to this job back in May 2022. Our company has around 100 employees and our team has 9 members. When I started, I see people that are doing jokes and talking to each other. Since I didn’t know anyone I thought talking to people would be good idea to socialize but sadly there wasn’t an opportunity.

In my 3rd week there was a BBQ event. I thought its perfect time. When three people talk to each other from cinema and games (I am gonna name them A, B and C and A is our team lead), I expressed some of my opinions too but they just say “Yeah. Okay.” Or just didn’t care.

After the BBQ, A organized a camping event with friends but they said they need more people and in front of us (newbies) they didn’t even offered to us. B just called his friends outside the work and C doesn’t even know them but they still didn’t invite us.

So I start to hang out with new employees like me. I had good friendship with them. We drink coffee go, for a walk, eat together etc.

But some weeks later, C approached the only woman in our group for drinking coffee and go for a walk and didn’t even invite us. All of these happens in front of us. And when I talk to my friend, she said B doesn’t trust other people so much so that’s why when he makes an organization, he doesn’t invite you or others. But after that, I learn that A and C are like this too.

Nearly 1.5 years have passed and nothing has changed. C invited her to their annually camping and they went driving school together. Well of course I don’t care about this but I told this because to say, they can hang out with new friends and ignoring us.

I can understand that maybe they don’t want to hang out with us but they don’t even talk to us daily. I might switch jobs because of that. My old job had great people and I miss my friends at there.

Oh man, I thought MovieBob doing a BvS hate video longer than BvS was the pinnacle but this guy spent three times as long as the actual movie on the movie.   

Mauler is also known as Longman for a reason (he's also host or co-host of several multi-hour podcasts every week), but his dissections tend to be actually entertaining and quite good. He often spends a lot of time referencing and comparing elements, his Antman video wasn't just about that singular movie, but that particular movie in the context of the series, phase 4, Marvel movies, Disney and modern entertainment in general. I believe his Ahsoka review is currently trending on Youtube, and that one begins with a half hour synopsis of one episode of Futurama and one episode of Buffy, as context and a setup to show why Ahsoka doesn't work. Still overall one of his shortest reviews. He tends to overdo it, but I still enjoy having his reviews on in the background when I'm working on boring stuff.

I take "all you can eat" as a personal challenge. It's not about "getting my money's worth." I go beyond that. I want to make this restaurant regret their all you can eat policy.

I had a light breakfast. I'm having a light lunch. I'm also working out after work.

I think just starving yourself all day is counter intuitive. Like you get so sick and shitty feeling with hunger you barely have an appetite.

I want to come in with confidence and a clear mind, prepared to EAT.
