the part I always find the most interesting is how things become "it is known" canon, an ephemeral holy scripture that isn't strictly recorded anywhere but every member of the group just accepts, and over time it builds to a complete disconnect with reality to the point where a normie encountering the latest crazy dogma would have to be re-educated from square one just to catch up
There's a long meandering story you have to tell yourself in order to reach these conclusions, but encountering just the conclusion is an "emperor has no clothes" situation
it's hard to articulate an example but I've seen it many times
getting toward what I mean, it's like...gender is fluid and societal, so it's fine for trans women to just decide that they are now women, and we have to accept their chosen identity, but wait no actually the HRT literally transforms you into a woman physically, and eliminates all physical advantages you might've ever had, very reputable studies have shown, so it's fine for trans women to compete with women in sports
but you show a normie Lia Thomas on stage next to women and they say something is obviously very wrong here
It's very new religion in terms of having a hidden hierarchy, which its proponents take as evidence of there being no hierarchy even as they do little but enforce it.
I've mentioned before that it's very strange how things come to become canon in it, trans is a good example but the woke spectrum in general is like this. And there's generally no argument at all for any of it, trans activists at least try to often backfill one in, but there's that great example of the prison abolitionist outright saying there shouldn't be an argument. It's all "vibes" based which is how the ADL was a keeper of important knowledge that should regulate all speech in the world but now is a Zionist operation that should be dismissed.
And one of the central components of the ideology is your faith or loyalty to it, so you can't object. So it's really about how fast things will snowball. You watch a ResetERA.com thread and there's really no rhyme or reason to what gets taken up into the canon except whatever happens to be the view of the dominant social clique. For a people who view everything through the lens of Junior High it's quite amusing that they're all so quick to adopt the ways of the popular kids and bullies.
One reason the anti-woke and MAGA types look so much like the woke types is they lasered in on applying pretty much all this stuff, they didn't object to the process of the wokes, only the results. Now they're calling you a pedo for not supporting socialism or supporting free speech because you made the dumb mistake of thinking it was the socialism that was being opposed or free speech that was being supported when it was just who was in charge of it.
I find it exceptionally amusing with the progressive type because of how these are people all convinced that reality is controlled by the systemic power of social constructs (and they're brave and stunning resisters to it), but they do absolutely nothing not get to swept up by them and substitute them for showing any individuality.

Kennedy had 1 line, Obama maybe 2, Reagan 3 tops.
Trump? 100's. it's marginal right?
I don’t think anyone in history had such a profound impact on culture, language, entertainment and politics.

It's all treated like this kind of memetic sorcery where the power exists within the terms and phrasings, so you can just flop out sentences or paragraphs full of these things and be "well informed" even as they are entirely contentless. But it's not my job to educate you on how what I said is actually this incredible thought that shows how stupid you are. Says the guy stealing his shit from Nate Silver.
A bit lost in the mix there but the abuse of the term "disabled" by people who are clearly not disabled by any common sense analysis is another mark noting the corruption of America's institutions by screaming anti-intellectual leftists.

What annoys me that they act as of there was no difference between the accessibility they're demanding and say a person in a wheelchair. A simple fact is that a wheelchair ramp comes with no downsides for the non-disabled, meanwhile their demand for permanent masking comes with a lot of inconvenience for the non disabled.
Like sorry that you're immunocompromised, but sometimes this then means that you can't do certain things anymore. Demanding that the entire population changes to accommodate for you is not realistic.
I don't think the non-woke act of Newsom is going to work.
He'll scare away the voters that actually do care about being called a retard or a faggot.
If he's up against Trump he's toast but also if he's up against the Call of Duty groupchat.
We all know from the leaks how Vance feels about things and that'll get him a lot of votes.

If Harris had abandoned Biden and gender affirming surgeries for prisoners she would have won. Pete and Newsom just not dismissing concerns about women's sports is all they need to do to defang the accusation in the general. Biden just won the last Democratic primary doing exactly this as everyone else ran to the woke.

Well, at the speed Taylor has been unravelling mentally lately, I think she'll soon be allowed to call herself mentally disabled.
And semi-related since I saw it from the last guy:

It was "millennial bosses be crazy bitches." The outrage tweets framed them as corporate middle managers instead of the co-owners of the spa business or whatever they were.
Nah, Yglesias and those other guys are completely stupid. It's well known that the North won by having better vibes due to being on the Right Side of History.

Whatever happened to resigning on principle?
Of course its like 5 people
They’re actually boycotting the 24H2 update for corrupting their data. People heard BDS when they yelled SSD.

The press specializes into taking tiny groups of nobodies and magnifying them into narratives... it's maddening, no matter the political direction.

In news that should surprise no one, the trans lunatics and their sycophants have self harmed over a book prize.
Quote:Polari book prize cancelled after row over gender-critical novelist
A prize celebrating LGBTQ+ literature has cancelled its awards this year, after a row over the longlisting of an author who has described himself as a “Terf” – the acronym for trans-exclusionary radical feminist.
From a total longlist of 24, 16 authors and two judges withdrew from this year’s prize, and more than 800 writers and publishing industry workers signed a statement protesting against the inclusion of John Boyne, the author best known for The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.
Polari said it had decided to “pause the prize this year” while it increases “representation of trans and gender non-conforming judges on the panels for all the awards” and undertakes “a governance and management review”, organisers wrote in a statement on Monday.
“What was supposed to be a celebration of exceptional LGBTQ+ literature has been overshadowed by hurt and anger, which has been painful and distressing for all concerned and we apologise to everyone who has been affected”, it added.
The prize organisers said they had had “many conversations” with authors, judges, stakeholders and funding bodies about the impact of Boyne’s longlisting and “how we can learn from this experience and move forwards”.
In a response to the controversy, Boyne said that it seemed “absurd and wrong” that debut writers who were withdrawing were losing an opportunity, and said that if they returned, he would ask judges not to consider his novella, Earth, for the shortlist.
Writing in the Telegraph on Tuesday, he called Polari’s decision to cancel the prize an “interesting example of self-cancellation”, and said that nobody from the prize had contacted him. “Had they done so, perhaps a happier resolution might have been found”.
Dude said that had anyone bothered to contact him, he would have withdrawn. Instead, they cancelled the whole award.
Retards man. Anything to play the victim.
