For me personally it's not that I'm sidestepping it, Grammer's political leaning has been talked about in Frasier threads before and it's not news anymore. I simply have nothing to say about it, other than "Yes, Grammer's an ass and a fool". I’m well aware of that irony of saying this here. But sometimes I wonder if there’s an existential crisis whenever a casual user reveals they have a life outside all this. Twitter and Era are some users entire self. There’s nothing else. No life experiences or identity or whatever. Their persona is entirely based on what the social media blobs tell them. For somebody who’s never come to a conclusion themselves, how crazy must it be to see somebody speak from first hand real world experience. Like a two dimensional being trying to perceive a three dimensional object.

Insiders have commented that Excel is (or appears to be ) pretty unstable in discords, so that’s the main reason why mods give her a pass.

If I need to guess, that is the justification behind the protected members or the staff tolerating the most unhinged mods. Of course, I think that is just an excuse to not deal with the problems of the forum and the staff as is obvious that is the only thing some the RE admin team has in their life.

At least half the ERA mods are just as crazy/unhinged as the inmates. So it's a mistake to assume ERA mods have a certain level of self-awareness of their actions.
