I think we hit peak oil/intelligence years ago and have been declining slowly ever since. All markets and investors can think in is in 5 minute time spans, no one can see the Tsunami of recession and depression(and worse) that is going to hit the world wide economies due to the Strait being fucked for even a couple of weeks(although we know its not going to be opened for a while if it at all, even if the war is stopped right now).

The world uses 100+ million barrels of oil a day, yes, millions of barrels of oil sitting around for a couple weeks is no biggie. Infinitely more oil and gas was removed from the market in 2022 (and ever since) when the West took basically all Russian sources off the normal market. Sources shift constantly just due to things like weather and accidents. Do these guys even remember when Evergreen blocked the Suez for a week?

The markets constantly rallying based on WORDS rather than actual actions will never make sense to me.

The markets haven't been rational in many years. Whenever it drops a bit there are people buying the dip to make a quick gain. It's basically gambling.

Lots of journalists/analysts hate him for that and is how I actually got to know the account exists through them quoting him before.
