Well it's quite interesting to see my boss make all the moves I told him to 3 months ago.
Do I mind that he presents them as though he is making the call? Not at all, the team wasn't too happy with the message that we are in business to make money and we may have to restructure. When he said he worked 60 hours to prevent this they were still like "Fuck you". He found out quickly that loyalties and friendships based on employment contracts don't last.

To my surprise he put his foot down.

Me looking at the state of the world, economy and energy prices as I take on the role of Chief Commercial Officer.

I am discussing the Japanese concept of "ma" negative space and the influence of Miyazaki on contemporary art with a cute 31 y/o polish girl while playing Mario Kart World.

She finds honesty in "quiet" shots
Quote:It’s rare to meet someone who appreciates melancholy as an aesthetic rather than just a mood. There’s a certain honesty in it, isn't there? I find in photography, the “quiet” shots where nothing is happening in the negative space are always the ones that stick with me. Is there a specific Japanese creator that sparked your interest in Ma?

Now I'm going to the pub

At a restaurant where seats are very close. Pair next to us are on a first date. The guy is desperately trying to make his voice deeper. The girl is trying to make her voice higher and softer. A tense situation.

The market is there. The toilet that came with my place has an app that tracks bowel movements and has a special stool collection mode.

Life is fantastic.

Moved back to NYC.

Working as a nurse assistant 7 am - 3 pm.

After that I go to classical art training for 2-3 hours.

I get home, eat a quick meal and then study programming. Shooting for a cybersecurity engineer since that allows me to be creative. Already tackled Python and going through TryHackMe. With a career doing this I won't have to worry about money and can train art however I wish.

When I have time on the weekends I study movies/tv/stories. I read everywhere I go of course. Right now I'm finishing off War and Peace. It's really not that difficult if you've read things like Romance of the Three Kingdoms or The Water Margin. Shows like Legend of the Galactic Heroes also primed me lol.

When I get the fundamentals in my classical art training in, I'll start commuting to Kubert's School in NJ for comic training. In the mean time I've began scripting my stories.

Life is fantastic!

Good to hear dude.

I hope you can continue to reflect on some of the anger you have about stuff and build the life you want.

Being negative is easy, being positive is hard. In the end it's your choice.

I think you have grossly misunderstand me.

I am not a negative person, especially in real life or person. I'm always positive and about fighting through hardship.

What might be construed as "being negative" or "angry" on this site is really just someone with strong emotions using the internet as a container for negative ones. Expressing so-called "negative" emotions isn't bad. On the contrary, to fully experience living you must dig deep and play with dark emotions to understand yourself. But you must use a container so that they sift away. I use self expression through the canvas of the internet as a toilet to toss unwanted energy. It's all about freedom. Freedom to express, freedom to think how I feel, freedom to say what I want and think. Why can't I say retard? Why can't I say niggger? Isn't the point of an artist to push boundaries?

More frequently I am adding very dark thoughts to my work so I'm allowed to play with things like anger in storytelling. In many ways, how I am on this site is a character, a rhetorical self insert that puffs up the things I believe to the nth degree. I would often reply in ways that allow me to craft responses with prose, or wit. It wasn't that serious.

Have a song and chill.
