It’s golden week and many restaurants are closed. Walked for a while until I saw one place was open so I went in. And it turns out it was a vtuber restaurant. Hundreds of fumo dolls around this small shop. TVs playing streams of vtubers. How to phrase this… everybody there was mad autistic. Nice guys. They huddled up and were talking about me before one approached and started asking questions. Like “which vtuber I was committed to”. Mostly, the feeling of being out-autisted was new/

I knew of a two or three through osmosis during the COVID era. So I pointed to the dolls and went “that dog girl…played Doom?” and the guy gave me a thumbs up and said “Nice.”

Actually the reviews of the place are very sweet. It’s people saying they’re socially awkward and it was a place to chat with likeminded individuals and be open. And the owners thanking them.
