There's a whole Xitter chain going on and people are putting ERA's members usernames with their posts bashing the series in full display, saw at least one guy saying that they (ERA users) should be doxxed.
Doesn't help that the CEO of the game is retweeting fan-art of the new protagonist slapping her own ass and saying shit like "does this look like the body of a kid? I'm an adult!!".
Whole situation is gross as shit.

(I like that he for some reason brings up the shift up CEO liking a fanart despite the fanart explicitly being about how the character is an adult?) For some reason, a random poster saying “I was made aware of this today” is really tickling me.

Weird that a grown person would type - - after deleting their ai emdash. Like if you need any proof whatsoever of how full of shit they are there is an obvious data harvesting shared account that nepenthe never complains of oddly, strangely

Hmmm
Pretty sure it’s shiba5. If you go to https://www.resetera.com/threads/active-staff-roster.7164/#post-1191462 you can click on all the other names and it pops up their little user card or whatever, but shiba5 does nothing which makes me think the account was nuked for some reason. I know I saw the name recently too so definitely still active.
Edit: Yea shiba5’s account has been nuked, if you try to go back to a post that another user quoted it just says post not found. Now I’m more curious about what happened that it necessitated a full account nuke to hide.
Made fun of MindsEye a lot.

They do this shit a lot. They start using cop/law enforcement language because they think it makes them sound more authoritative. The mods, and particularly Nepenthe, do it when they want to shut down conversation.

That shiba5 had recently become their resident stats guy for CCU threads and such. Would love to know what the problem was, maybe build a rocket boy or a dev studio complained

Cool, just accept that some rando is now a mod
Same thing when Ree made Bronson Lee's new rando account into mod: 2 Bee or something like that.

Here's a wild theory, the entremet account is literally a staff shared account that they use to create threads to social engineer data for MOBA. They get specific topic lists they have to post about and some of them are lazier than others, they use an AI to do it and they pretend this is somehow mocking the tech chuds. It's definitely a social engineering exercise but I used to think it was just some arrangement they had, the AI posts have me thinking otherwise.
Are there ever any bans ever for Entremet on Resetera?

Entremet used to be smarter or at least I felt he was a real user. I think he got a ban before he become “clueless marketing bro”.
entrement is old school as shit, here he was posting on one of the flashpoint gamergate articles from 2014, although his account was deleted including his posts so you can only see quotes:
https://www.neogaf.com/threads/leigh-alexander-gamers-dont-have-to-be-your-audience-gamers-are-over.884360/#post-127509863
You can see he the. talked like a regular from the woke squad but now it he sounds clueless on everything.

I don't see how they just allow what is obvious social engineering, lazy examples of it at that otherwise. Anyone else is instant banned for the tiniest bullshit.

from what I understand, record of lodoss war was japan's literal introduction to D&D, it wasn't making any traction anywhere except a small friend group started playing and their adventures developed into lodoss war, which was an overnight hit, and led to everyone looking into what this role playing thing is, including development of japan's home grown RPG sword world
pretty sure dragon quest and final fantasy owe some of their growth and popularity to lodoss war
in other words this guy is one of the original grognards, the old schoolest of old schools
probably exclusionary toward women in the hobby, advocate of slaughtering even baby goblins
of course he's a chud just like gygax was

It's so funny how they take offense for being pointed out as the site that bans games. They are acting shocked like they've never done that before. ClickyCal is apparently a false-flag persona. Or it's "anti-wokes" who made up Era's bans.
I believe in prison proliferation
every time some company says we want to build a data center here in your backyard, you say NO, build a prison there instead
start putting people in prison for things like loudly smacking their gum and for using their phone in the theater
