Matched with a local 31 y/o single mom on Bumble this week, dumb move in this state so we're having a date on tuesday night.
Dumb move also because monday is gym night and tuesday I have to take my father to the hospital for a CT scan.

Gym went well, better than expected after a week off actually.

Gym bro had a good vacation in France except the part where you have to deal with French people but eh.

The date is still on, the hospital visit has been moved to an earlier time slot so I won't have to worry about running late for the date.
However I was hoping my mother would do the smart thing and wait home but she insisted on going with us so I'll have to watch her and find elevators because she's scared of stairs and escalators these days. 

Anyway I'm glad I could use some of my anger and energy at the gym.

I dunno about the CT scan. The diagnosis was in 2021. The surgery in 2023 which ended in disaster and an internal bleeding. Only 5% of patients are still alive 5 years after diagnosis.
I asked my father if he has any hunch or feels one way or the other about this but he says he doesn't. However, I find that hard to believe given how nervous he is and his poor shape overall earlier this year.
