Why have all socialist regimes established pyramidal hierarchies? What are the "interests" of capitalism? it's a combination tbh, they both believe it's true & do so because of pride & ego To not be wrong Or had so to speak. there also the added angle of sunk-cost fallacy as well.

There's also the whole "the enemy is both extremely powerful and powerless at the same time" shtick they have going on (which is also an essential ingredient for fascism).

A lot of them don't care about the inconsistences or hypocrisies in their own shit, because to them it's all about "winning" via any means necessary.
I don't doubt for a second that some of them are simply too blind or wrapped up in cognitive dissonances to not even be able to recognise the inconsistences either though, and those ones are usually the "useful idiots" for the grifters and such.
