Not that I care too much about religion but I find it interesting how the modern progressive movement seems to jump back and forth between the belief that religion needs to be respected and that it should be mocked. The former usually applying to Islam and the latter to Christianity

I'm not sure what the point of this is when they still got white actors on the stage and the whole thing is apparently about interracial relationships anyway, so you'd think it'd be about encouraging exchange. Overall this kind of stuff keeps happening again and again and I think at some point it's mostly performative to just get some extra headlines
