Feeling a bit scared but I feel like I am being taken advantage of.

This is my first graduate job working for a charity. The jobs pretty okay but I have noticed some slight shady things in how staff are treated (updated contracts where notice peroids are extended, people having leave cancelled).

I have just had my probation extended for the second time after getting a new manager in the last week.  My previous manager told me i will pass my probation and I am doing really well. Suddenly I have been told I am not progressing fast enough by the new manager. 
Normally I would be like fair enough but in April the exact same thing happend to me. Where I got suddenly switched departments and told I am having my probation extended. My previous department also said I was doing really well. Between this


I feel like they are going to keep extending my probation and switching managers so I will not gain full employment rights.  I work in the HR department and have seen the way my managers treat other employees and I am not surprised. I can't keep working with this stress and I'm lucky I have savings.

It just sucks as somebody with a disability to have to quit a job where I was told they were inclusive and supportive.

Sorry if this made no sense but just needed to write this out.

Wait until they fire you so you can collect unemployment and look for jobs during the work day.

Can't you stay at the job while looking for something else? Because the best time to look for jobs is while you're still employed.

Yes, please don't do it, I did the same and it fucked up 3 years of my life I will never get back. Have something lined up or a good plan.

Do the least amount of work you are obligated to do and spend all that extra time looking for something new.

You have to do what's right for you. I've done that too, it's scary and sometimes it can really fuck you over, but sometimes it's necessary.

Not specifically you, but I get the impression sometimes some in this thread make it seem current PS5 owners have to pay $500-$600 for a new PS5 Pro.... when, just like the PS4 Pro, there were great trade in deals for the system.

So for myself, it is worth paying $100-$200(for disc drive as well) more to get a PS5 PRO, after trading in my PS5.

I'm expecting we'll get $350-$400 credit for Physical PS5s in late 2024.

I might not get the disc attachment right away because I think I've claimed/bought most of my PS4 disc collection on digital.

As for valid reasons in your case, it depends if you care about high quality image + RT at 60fps. Or if you care for the need of 120fps for most of your games.
