Short story:

I am working in here for a year and when people call which name I prefer I said I don't mind but sadly they picked the other one because there is another person who has my preferred name. Now I can't undo this.

Update after one year:

Nothing changed in one year and it still bothers me. I am planning to say "please use this while talking to me" to my colleagues. If they continue using my other name, I'll start calling them with their other names or just surnames. Or maybe I'll ignore them if they call my not preferred name. Why I have to work with immature people?
