I stumbled across a Python script that performs a function I need, except I wanted the filenames reordered a different way for my purposes

I started to message the guy who posted it, seeing if he could modify it for me because I am lazy and I don't know anything about Python

but then I thought, hell why bother him, can ChatGPT do it?

and it did instantly, amazingly well

it even wrote a little lookup table to convert three letter month codes into numbers (Jan = 01), etc

it's like magic
