I responded to her that I'm of course sad that she feels that way but I respect her choice and we'll keep working together professionally.

She responded with: "That makes me very happy. Good Night" and a prayer emoji. (did she just instantly regret?)


Yeah, who knows. I'll see her again in january for a business meeting. A lonely 2 week vacation with Christmas and New Years Eve might change her mind.
But like I said before, it's really difficult for these 30-something chicks to accept the situation they are in. They're just on these apps swiping all day to find mr. 10/10 chad who will instantly reject them because of their age/looks/weight. While she isn't ugly or fat, what I consider a 7 with her body type (and maybe an 8 if she dresses the way I think she should) she is usually a 3 or 4 in their book. I didn't really lower my standards chasing this one but yes I too would prefer slimmer, bigger breasts and a bit younger (late 20's).

I feel genuine affection and interest because I like her character so much but that first date would've really made it clear to me if there was something deeper that connected us.
But I'm someone who never gives up (in a good way), so if she already backs out at the first stop it might not work out anyway
