At one point I thought that global attention would eventually calm mangas the fuck down a bit but it sure seems like nothing of such is gonna happen.

I do think it takes a good dose of crazy to keep releasing content week after week after week and Oda has been doing this gig for 20+ years. Even if the direction of the magazine was to be controlling this shit (which they don't) he's the literal cash cow and there's no way they can prevent him from doing something he wants to do.

If only some rich executive could decide what an artist is allowed to draw

next on era: supporting AI replacing artists because AI is run through corporate filters which detect filthy content and prevent it from being made, all manga artists should be forced to generate only with bing image creator because it is safe
