Anyone else deal with disappointing gifts and not sure how to express this to family? I was very specific this year what I wanted and showed them exactly where to get them and when they were going on sale.

Kinda feels like I was purposely ignored and was given stuff more to "surprise" me, then get me what I wanted.

So many posts on Era about bad x-mas giifts.  Using their CC I ordered a gravy boat, a outdoor timer for the lights they have, and for me a pair of earbuds I searched, "does not fall out of ear."  I also said I'm going to use the card to buy some new eyeglasses.  That's my x-mas haul and I feel grateful for them and I bought cheapest shit earbuds I could and I will for the eyeglasses.  

They. didn't have to give me anything and I expect nothing.

I'm mostly surprised by apparent adults writing Christmas wishlists. Are you fucking kidding me?
