Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is fucking amazing. And exactly the game I needed.

I put it off because I could see Atlus going the like...anime high-school giggle girls meet-cute fan-shipping power rankings direction with tons of fully voiced dialogue and interminable cutscenes. I've had enough of that for a lifetime, and I assumed that SMTV would not escape this same fate.

But it does! Seems like they just added enough anime booby ladies and high school waifus to bait the modern RPG audience, but this is still a real, honest-to-god SMT game. It's just such a game. I bought because I spent 15 hours on the damn demo in something like 4 days. Playing on Hard too, and it's been such a fun time.
