it always focuses on goblins like they're uniquely redeemable for some reason
what about hobgoblins? bugbears? owlbears? gnolls? beholders?
what about kuo-toa, neutral evil fish men?
what about mind flayers, illithids, who are sadistic aberrations, more or less spawn of "old ones" or aliens who are strictly malevolent?
what about the drow, an evil matriarchal society full of slavery and rape who worship gods of spiders, darkness, and chaos? yes drizz't is a notable "good one," that's part of why his story was interesting, that doesn't mean you can't have scenarios where "the drow are attacking the village" because everyone knows what the drow are and that this is bad news
why are goblins alone now supposed to be basically black people and/or jews?
why aren't we supposed to respect all monsters and monstrous races as merely acting according to their culture?
