I gotta believe something like this exists already, surely.

I'd like to believe the man is a complete idiot, but he's not. He's just a lying arsehole and he's cynical about it too. 

This is just straight up gaslighting the idiots who voted for him by implying that tariffs are a tax on foreigners rather than a tax on importers and unfortunately consumers. The IRS collects the tax because it's a fucking internal tax.
