I have made the mistake, and continue to make the mistake, of watching the DCEU films, starting with MAN OF STEEL, and so far continuing with BATMAN V SUPERMAN, which is only slightly less inane. Cavill makes a great Superman. Batfleck is more compelling than most seem willing to acknowledge. It doesn't help that Michael Keaton's return to the role in FLASH is a goddamned triumph, and the best part of that film. 

I thought Snyder writing was the problem, but MoS is David S. Goyer and FUCKING CHRISTOPHER NOLAN. No writing credit for Snyder at all. WTF? Goyer also wrote BvS, while apparently smoking the remnants of whatever he was on while writing Blade: Trinity. Man, looking at Goyer's history, he's responsible for some great stuff and also some amazing garbage. 

Snyder still should not be allowed to write, but good golly, apparently this wasn't on him?
