A hypothetical Shadow of Mordor game on Themyscira, fighting mythic beasts and whatnot, would be cool. There’s grounds to rope in various Greek mythology. Given God of War moved away from it, it’d be a novel to mess with. Fucking up minotaurs and such. It’s not that complicated conceptually. Think it’s what people assumed when it went to that team. So I don’t get how it became complicated.
I just dont think Wonder Woman has that universal appeal besides America
My take is it’s a chicken and egg deal. Character doesn’t have wide appeal because there wasn’t media to build that appeal. Until there is.
Besides, Avengers and Avatar are the two biggest movie franchises and those games flopped because of the quality. You make a good game and people will play it. The team behind it is talented. The potential to build something cool is there.
I mean Guardians of the Galaxy is a pretty damn good game and that sold like shit..
