I'm sure they'll blame it on Rowling or whatever but the demand to participate in women's sports and the increasing rhetoric that actually trans woman are the same as cis woman has guaranteed pushed people away. At that point it goes from just letting people live their lives and instead demanding that you accommodate your perception of reality for them
