You haven't even scored a date yet. It's a three front strategy now, Bumble for serious stuff, Tinder for casually messing around and of course whatever happens IRL. Instead of trying to get AI to dress you up, why not just match with someone and ask them out on a date and actually go?
Tinder didn't yield any matches in the current setup anyway, I got a few likes but I didn't like them. Hence the change to a new strategy. Now that I've set it to casual the 'fun' and 'casual' pond I already see is much bigger and I can just swipe on the 'would', would not' scale. The pictures are also less refined instagram shoots and more teasing with loose straps, bikini beach shots and things like that.
At first I only wanted something steady or long term. But in hindsight Casual hook-ups would be perfect for me too, because I'm a busy man and I overthink so with casual I won't have to think about interests or what comes after. I didn't realize this before I had those conversations with the Bumble woman. Another thing I thought would bother me before I started using these apps was body counts but I quickly realized, I didn't really care. I just need to optimize the profile to get a steady stream of leads on thursday/friday for fun weekends. Lots of women here who don't want to go through the hassle of scouting clubs to find guys to take home especially with all the assholes there and the high prices. On Tinder you have to use the boosters and super likes though because there are just so many profiles.
Same as I realized it didn't matter to me that she wasn't white or didn't speak Dutch. I swiped no on a cute Polish vet for example, because at the time I didn't want someone who didn't speak Dutch and all those animals aren't gonna work with my asthma long term but for casual that wouldn't matter.
Most matches on Bumble so far overall, the black woman was the best after 6 weeks or so. We had fun video calls for a week the closest I got to a IRL date and I might go to dinner with her still anyway.
Nothing on Hinge. Gonna delete that when it runs out, simply not enough users. I'll probably replace Hinge by Happn or Breeze next month.
I'm also gonna get some new glasses, the rimless frame I have is fine but a bit out of fashion. The Bumble woman agreed, the weakest thing about my current look. The thinning hair, go full bald at this point or not. She couldn't say either, just keep it neat and short for now. One thing she was dissapointed about is that I didn't have any hoodies she could steal, apparently a thing with women.
