a) while some people no doubt have a more nuanced take that requires a multi post follow up that defund the police doesn't actually mean you want to stop all funding to the police services, its equally true that a bunch of people wholeheartedly endorse what that statement literally states.
b) easily avoided with a less shit / deliberately provocative motto to rally around
