Hopefully, I will be visiting LA. this summer I haven't been back since 2004. I miss having all the activities in one place, especially after living here in Mayberry with a population of 1011.

I have a friend out there, and I'll have to convince her to do all the dumb touristy stuff I didn't get to do when I lived there. I was there for a year and didn't even swim in the Pacific. All the locals told me most the stuff wasn't worth it, but almost 25 years later, I still wish I'd seen and done all that stupid stuff.  

Like, my co worker said the Tar Pits are for school kids but I've seen vids now and wish I didn't listen to that guy.

I did do a lot of hiking around Mt Baldy and Timber Mt. tho. (where Julian Sands died )  I didn't go in the winter like he did. But I did make a rookie mistake. One time I was going to push myself and decided to summit two different mountains in one day. (they were close together so not that big of a deal) but I was behind schedule and decided I would still go for it. It gets dark real quick, real soon when the sun goes behind a mountain. I thought I'd have a little more daylight but didn't account for the other giant mountain West of me. And no flashlight cuz of course I planned everything correctly. Except for that mountain and my vehicle being in a valley. Once I found a decent trail I made it back to my Jeep.

Anywho, I'm taking ideas on what to do in Southern California and I thought I would take pictures of those things that I do and post them here. So I'm taking suggestions. 

I don't have any real schedule so it doesn't matter where it is, really. As long as it's interesting. Even anything on the way cuz I'm driving out there from Wisconsin. Being disabled with no job and no family. I'm starting to go a little nuts and I thought this would give me something to do.
