I will admit being a dumbass here. Trump was riding the dick of the stock market so hard in the first term, that I always expected he would pull any lever, juice any short-term fuckery, or do anything really to make sure "line goes up" no matter what.

I mean, he was basically treating it like a high score, and IIRC kept claiming credit for gains even after Biden was in the white house.

I don't think he's happy about it going down, but I am truly shocked he is not backpedaling way harder by now.
