Gonna “well, actually” here. Watched a BTS video of one of their marvel movies. They had a clever solution for having super people run fast while filming outside. They had a long mat pulled by a car. The stuntmen ran across the mat as the car accelerated, creating the illusion of running super fast. But then they layered so much vfx on top of it the scene looks fake and rubbery.

Mission Impossible Fallout is a good movie but they do the same thing there with the halo jump. You have Tom Cruise and a cameraman jump out of a plane. Then in the movie it’s set at night, with fake clouds and a storm, and it makes a cool stunt look janky.
