i wanted to try skydiving myself but I settled for this...... 
they put you in a quick release harness, take you up and open the trapdoor. Theylower you through the door and once you are clear they pull the release and you cannonball with your ass/back into the net. Thats as close as I got to skydiving but it was definitely worth the $30 I paid vs, whatever skydiving costs. A very strange feeling when you fall even that short amount into a net.
I did convince my wife at the time to do this with me too...
The first and only time I ever heard her scream
That was worth more than the $30 or whatever that cost me
