Want to say Biden’s team committed to a woman VP and with 2020 being 2020, speculation that it’d have to be a black woman, they settled on her. Makes sense as a Biden VP pick. Good contrast. Balances out the appeal amongst voters.
Goes back to the problem with Wanz. The worst type of person to contrast Harris. A lot of speculation pinned Shapiro as the VP. That would’ve made sense. There were many theories as to why they didn’t go with him or a Newsom or a competent person with potential.
