Currently sicker than I’ve been in quite some time. Wearing a mask whenever I go indoors out of courtesy for others. It sucks. Wearing masks isn’t uncommon in Japan, but man, I can’t imagine a scenario where Americans or the western world at large wears masks. Actually I don’t know why I had so many spare masks in my bag. Odd.

I hope you feel better soon. I know when I lived on my own in Japan, it was a major drag getting sick. It felt like my support network was on the other side of an ocean... because it was. 

Do you have emergency contact information and stuff set up somewhere?
