Calgary is a fun city to explore. Indoor gardens, bars, shops, malls lots of great architecture. It's interesting how the city still upholds the concept of public buildings and connects them all with sky bridges for the cold winters. There’s maps everywhere too, I've taken pictures of them all to collect them kind of like Metroid.
Also had my first real Canadian food. Meat platter of pork, sausage and fries. Tasted great.
Culturally it's interesting too. Calgary is the "Texas of Canada" bbq, oil & gas, big SUVs but it's still Canada. So there is a guy in a cowboy hat, a femboy heading to a manga convention and a Sikh all waiting for the same traffic light.
Oh and I'm taller than 99% of the people here.
