The problem is how hard the ProPalestine in general have tried to not to acknowledge and sidestep October 7. You have some normal people go hyper defensive when brought up. There is certainly a discriminatory bias, specially from the arab side, but there is also a lot of clueless lefties just parroting everything they hear from influencers online. 

I think Hassan is smart enough to understand this but cynical enough to exploit it. But also, I don’t think he cares beyond getting leftie bucks and brand image.
