3. Some places brew coffee and tea with the same equipment. I've had a few iced teas that have a coffee aftertaste (at one particular McDonald's it's REALLY apparent) and found out that this is why.

Absolutely no chance that most places brew their own iced tea, especially McDonalds. It surely has to be a mix in the soft drink machine. Does this dude even know how iced tea is made? 

Not really sure, but most places have a separate area for the tea’s. if you want a soda machine iced tea, they’ll have a Brisk selection. The sweet and unsweetened iced tea is in its own separate canisters that the employee fills up when they are empty.
