re: the bodycam stuff, Nick has repeatedly ranted about how the county/legal system is out to get him, conducted their search improperly, did this and that wrong, and there is legal precedent in his state that bodycam footage can be released when doing so would correct the record or quell rumors
there are a number of interested parties in his local government who seem to want his arrest footage to be released on this basis, but he's fighting tooth and nail to stop it
