[Besticus Maximus]

Some days I have to meet somebody in some new location and I tend to wander around afterwards without checking maps. Today was one of those days and there was a moment I said “where the fuck am I?” out loud.

Completely dead area with bombed out looking buildings. A big pile of trash bags. Some old guy digging through said trash to find a papier mache Mickey Mouse. When I checked maps to get out of there, there was nothing. No restaurants. No convenience stores. No train stations. Clearly there were restaurants and bars around, but I guess nobody went there to list them. Bad vibes all around.
