USA Gymnastics' transgender policy pages offline as Riley Gaines-Simone Biles feud rocks the sport

USA Gymnastics appeared to delete its transgender eligibility policy pages on its website. When the pages were officially taken offline is currently unknown

One link previously led to a November 2020 announcement that the organization no longer required trans athletes to undergo sex reassignment, legal gender recognition, and hormone therapy in order to compete in the gender category of their choosing, as seen in an archive by the Wayback Machine. That page still shows up in search results, but the link now goes to a 404 error page.

What’s shocking (not really) is how nobody cares. You had the 2020 shitshow, scams, and aftermath. The protests and nonsense since 2023. Whether it’s fatigue or annoyance or whatever. They really fucked up in maintaining and building off the momentum. And been mentioned over and over how bad the imagery of waving foreign flags amid a burning American city is. People just do not care.

Most of it is cracking down on illegal immigration is popular. Most people probably think it should be done with due process and people shouldn't be apprehended by unidentifiable thugs wearing masks, but that all starts to get a bit in the weeds for normies.

But I can't help but think part of it is how the destructive protests shift from one cause to another. BLM, to Free Palestine, and now Due Process in Immigration. End result of all of them is seeing people yelling and property destroyed.
