Jesus says to render unto Caesar which means to subjugate yourself to your nations laws and one of our laws is that immigration that is not vetted is illegal.

but the bible doesn't say "thou shalt not pay taxes," in saying "render unto caesar" jesus wasn't making any statement against existing commandments

if caesar passed a law that said "every citizen must murder someone once a month," I doubt the j-man would be saying "welp, gotta render unto caesar I guess," because that law would conflict with the commandment against murdering

so if there's a biblical directive to treat immigrants well, jesus isn't going to say "oh well your local law says to treat them poorly, that supercedes god's law, guess you gotta obey that first"
