Sure you don't just have adware grandpa? I'm probably the only person here who doesn't browse resetera so I have no way of knowing first-hand but i'm sure if management approved ads that obtrusive they'd make a thread on it (that would be reposted here).

I think non-logged in people get different and more intrusive ads.

Clever people also browse via a browser that blocks such ads, I only look at Era in Brave
