Yeah, I'm pretty confident that most people "impacted by police violence & the violence of incarceration." are men. And it's not even close.

It's beyond mental gymnastics it's straight up lying. Wtf 

if a woman is arrested and/or jailed: she suffers as any man would, and if there was a man in her life, he's fine on his own

if a man is arrested and/or jailed: the state takes care of all his needs, meanwhile the woman loses the main breadwinner of the family and has no protector, the state does nothing to help her, how is she supposed to get a job while watching the kids?

bonus: police officers are disproportionately likely to perform domestic violence against their wives

And that doesn't even get into the death sentence. Those guys get to go to heaven right away! Where's the gender equity, folks?
