Regular people find violence against women upsetting and that’s the story around sports. Honestly, I think if it were contained to the swimming stuff, it wouldn’t have been as bad. The visceral reaction to contact sports is difficult to whitewash. 

The volleyball story where a woman was concussed after getting spiked in the face. Pretty bad…but as a misandrist, it might’ve been funny if it were two men.

That volleyball story is awful. I didn't know women's volleyball nets are lower but now that I think of it it makes sense. That sokan probably never faced a ball with that angle of attack and couldn't defend herself.

The peaking for me on sports was the clip of a big trans woman going Shaq in handball on a bunch of hijab wearing smaller women in handball. It was fucking absurd.
