User banned (permanent): Antagonizing metacommentary after being banned multiple times for the same thing.

It's frustrating to see so many people in this thread go "probably no dev kits", when we KNOW that all the major publishers (Bandai Namco, Capcom, Square Enix, Konami, Sega) had them for a long time, hence why they already announced some games. The issue is why they won't announce NEW games for Switch 2 when they're announcing them for all the other systems. And with some rare exceptions (the new Digimon-game MIGHT be a held-back announcement after all), these are just non-sensical, anti-business decisions from these publishers. And just to preempt this: NOBODY ever said "we're making enough money, we're good" when it'd be so easy to just put most of these games on Switch 2. The Hero Academia-game is especially baffeling, considering the first game sold best on Switch 1.

The Switch 2 is a proven system, we shouldn't have to wait 2-3 years before 3rd-parties get proper support going. From a personal pov, I don't care, I'll buy my games elsewhere and most of these 3rd-party games don't interest me anyway. From a sales-age pov, however, it's frustrating how higher-ups allow their personal bias to sabotage a market that could truly flourish. Imagine being a Japanese kid, loving the My Hero Academia-anime, and not being able to play it on THE go-to-system. That's just bs. Japanese 3rd-parties are currently trying their hardest to lose the 2nd generation of young Japanese gamers in a row, another generation that will grow up knowing only the games that are available on Switch 2. You'd think that'd make them want to put their games on that system.

Of course the RE mods are stricter with an overzealous fanboy than antisemites
