One positive thing to say about the MCU is how superheroes keep just showing up and them trusting people to get it. "Yeah, he's Spider-Man but he's a kid now, got it?"

The MCU tries to have its cake and eat it too, because while it will drop some comic ass comicness, it will then also have a side character go "WOAH, ISNT THAT COMIC ASS COMIC THING FUCKING WILD? ARE WE IN A COMIC BOOK?" which is weeeelllllll past its welcome outside of character shtick like Deadpool
